AI isn't Going Back in Pandora's Box

We've seen extraordinary headlines suggesting that AI could pose an existential threat to humanity within the next decade.

Whether you believe the predictions or not, one thing seems increasingly difficult to deny - AI is advancing at extraordinary speed. As the global race for technological and military advantage gathers pace, I'm not convinced anyone is going to put the brakes on anytime soon.

As ordinary humans, we're unlikely to out-compute, out-process or outsmart increasingly powerful AI.

So perhaps this is our wake-up call to expand into the fullest expression of our extraordinary, holistic human intelligence.

I’m talking about dimensions of intelligence whose value and usefulness is often underestimated in our current culture, because they are harder to measure, quantify or replicate.  Intelligence that emerges when mind, heart and spirit work together rather than in isolation.

If AI is to become superintelligent, perhaps our challenge is to become extraordinarily human.

The AI juggernaut is already moving. We may not get to decide how far or how fast it travels.

But we do get to decide what we advance alongside it and what we choose to develop in ourselves.

Creative Genius is my tiny contribution.
